Catholic Charities is pleased to extend their partnership with the Community Center of St. Bernard to provide free tax preparation
services every Monday through April 13, 2009.
Tax preparation services will be available on March 23, March 30, April 6 and April 13 from 10:00am--3:00pm at the Community Center,
1107 LeBeau St, Arabi. No appointment is necessary. However, these services are targeted at families with children, and are limited to those households who earned $41,646 or less during 2008 and who do not itemize their returns.
Anyone seeking assistance with their tax returns should bring their W-2 forms, proof of identification, Social Security cards for every
family member that will be listed on the tax
return, the ID# for their Child Care Provider (if applicable), and bank account information so that refund checks can be issued by direct deposit. For additional information, please phone the Community Center of St Bernard at
